Head is back! Woo! Proper sex wee as well!

Hardened exhaust seats, 2 angle cut on the inlet seats, 8 valve guides, 4 exhaust valves and a 35 thou skim. Its so shineeee I don't want to put it back on! And I can't... at least not tonight anyway, going out, hehe! Still, means I get to pimp that A Class instead. Mmmm heated seats.

Make sure you go around the edges of the chambers with a file Daws... very lightly... if they haven't removed the sharp edge already...

Then after a few hours work on it today (I was at work and dad only had time to fiddle!). Really chuffed with the new inlet manifold, its snug as a bug!

I don't know if I'm right, but I get the feeling that Yates's don't do a lot of the posher things when it comes to fettling heads, but what they do do they do -very- well, so maybe thats why you couldn't get those guides Pies? Barn that porous head though!

Because its shite James, because its just shite. It would be as my mum would say, "swank on a rusty button". Indeed. :D (that and I couldn't be arsed, though I should have just VHT rattle canned it thinking about it!

Well that's what I thought - VHT rattle can would have taken about 10 minutes! 9 minutes of prep then a minute to spray...

Agree with James, bit of exhaust paint wouldn't have gone amiss there!

PAH! Drinking tea?! Well ok I did have one not long ago.
Just been wet and drying my venturis and trumpets actually, one side all fits, just got to fettle the other side. Then this evneing might start on replacing the seals in the Weber and I think my dad will be plumbing the rad in again and whatnot. I would think tomorrow night should be finishing night... I hope so anyway, now the trumpets are on the Weber I keep shouting "SNOOORRRRRTTT!!!" to myself in the garage. I need the car back badly
