So far I've been mildly impressed but it's not mind blowing. It doesn't yet feel as addictive as previous GTA games.

Everyone thinks that about addictive things, until I's time to quit. And they can't.

Well I got that addictive sensation with Mass Effect. Utterly brilliant game, first time I put it on I was sucked into it for about 3 hours (which felt more like 20 minutes).

Not yet feeling it with GTA.

I dare you to stop playing it for a day. :p

To be fair, I don't even have a console - but back in the day I did play Neverwinter Nights, which was laregly similar to Mass Effect (same company, same type of game) - and frankly I was a level 17 half-elf Ranger by the time I'd finished some 70hrs later.

zomg awes-ome  , so you had ago yet MWF ? tis much fun, the thing that impresses me so far on the single player missions, is you can pick and choose any mission you want from a variety of 'suppliers/crime lords' and it doesn't throw the story off, and adds to it, bit by bit, no matter which order you choose. If that makes sense, also the attention to detail is incredible, never seen a game so far where you can tell the programming team spent hours getting everything just right.
