Someone in my 4x4 club has just bought a 80's Chevy pickup with a 6.6 V8 diesel.

I think times couldn't be better for buying an American car, petrol prices are through the roof so the prices are low.

The guy who had the Disco now has a Delica which he takes offroading. It's been in a 4x4 magazine and is apparently the most extreme Delica in the country, not that it could take much to achieve such an accolade lol. I'll try get hold of some pics later.

Might be a V8 if it sounds fruity.

Landy's are definitely the best choice if you want lots of good accessories.

I can only say go for it, finally getting a 4x4 and going off roading was one of the best choices I've made.
